A Towel for Every Month
These are a couple of the "dish" towels I made with my mom while I was at home for Christmas. They are purely decorative. I now have one for every month (I already had 6 that she made and 2 of them are still getting stitched up). We got a lot of our patterns from Cricut cartridges. We used iron-on backing to adhere the fabric pieces that we cut out to the towels. My mom's sewing machine has a blanket stitch feature on it so she sewed up the edges for me, but my sister prefers to hand-stitch hers so it can easily be done either way. Now if only I can remember to switch them out every month.

Super cute! Were you able to cut the fabric with the cricut? Or did you cut out the pattern and then lay out on the fabirc? That may be a silly question now that I think about it.... :)
I have heard that you can cut fabric on your Cricut if you use a fabric stiffener first (and possibly a deep cut blade, I'm not sure), but we just cut out the pattern and layed it out on the fabric.
Charming question
